Disney World

We just got back from Disney World. We had a great time despite Brett's stomach bug and a cold that mom and I both battled for two days. The highlight of this trip was seeing how much Addison enjoyed it. She was so cute watching play house disney live that other people were taking pictures of her. I've included a video clip of it. She was laughing, clapping, dancing, and throwing her hands in the air. She didn't want to ride in her stroller at all. She wanted to walk through every park. She also learned how to put on a show of her own by the end of the week. If anyone looked at her she would smile and wave at them. She even went up to one man and kissed him on the cheek. Every animal she saw she called "kitty". She didn't like the characters much. Brett rode the thrill rides at the beginning of the week. Once his stomach bug hit he decided he was done with those. He said his favorite day was the last day. We dedicated it to doing things we thought Addison would enjoy. He said he loved watching her! What a good big brother. We came home yesterday (Sat). After an 8 hour drive home Brett went to baseball practice and has it again today. He didn't spend any money in Disney World. He decided he wanted to use his money to buy a new baseball helmet.

Spring Break!!!

We are leaving tomorrow morning after church to go to Disney World for spring break. So excited. Someone came and looked at our house today. They loved it but it was a little more than they wanted to spend. Realtor says they are thinking about it. Pray that they make an offer while we're on vacation. If that happens it will be a hard week to top... Easter, Disney World, Sell House!!! Hope everyone is doing good. Will post some pictures when we get back.

More Birthday Pics!

Addison's 1st b-day

Addison celebrated her first birthday last weekend. We had a small family party at our house. It was wonderful! She loved the cake and balloons. Today we took her to have some Easter pictures made with live bunnies. I thought she would love it b/c she lights up every time she sees our cat. She did well until a bunny climbed on her lap then she started crying.

Brett's opening day for baseball was scheduled for yesterday but b/c of the weather it was cancelled. His first game will be tomorrow night. Chaz surprised him with a new bat and took him to the batting cages this weekend.

Our realtor held an open house today. We had a few people come look but no offers. We closed on our lot this past Friday. Hopefully we will have a buyer for our house by the end of the summer.

Won Championship!!!

Brett's basketball team won the championship game this past Saturday! He was so excited. After the game the team went to the coach's house to celebrate. The kids played basketball, football, swam in the pool, and got in the hot tub. They had a blast!

Update

Everything is going great! I can't believe that Addison will soon be celebrating her first birthday. She is crawling and pulling up on everything. We had to get another baby gate b/c she has learned to climb to the top of the stairs. Brett's basketball team has their Final Four playoff game tonight. If they win they will get to play in the championship game on Saturday. His baseball team has already started practicing. They had their first practice last night. He is doing really well academically. We still have some room to improve with conduct.

We listed our home for sale by owner a few months ago but haven't had anyone call to show it so we have decided to list it with a realtor. We are wanting to move to a neighborhood with more children. I hope everyone is doing well. I will try to keep my posts more up to date. I've added two pics of Addison at 9 months and one of Brett taken a few weeks ago.
